How do I find a player's other cities?

Is there a way to find all of a players other cities in Ikariam that does not involve trial-and-error? I have found the player's capitol, and based on the fact that he has a level 3 palace, he could have up to three other cities. I've managed to find the first two (on adjacent islands), but haven't been able to find the third. I've even tried to spy out the town to see if ships are moving between this town and the "missing" town, but to no avail. It's possible (likely?) that the player only has 3 towns, but I want to be sure. Is there a surefire way for me to check where all of his towns are?

There is no legal, approved tool to accomplish this.

Frequent techniques include using spies (like you mentioned), sending in-game messages to the player and hoping they slip up and reply from a different city each time, or just manually checking island by island.

spying on their communications will sometimes show you the city and cords they sent it from.. since most do most of their work from their capital.. and thus send most of their messages from there.. you've got a hard job ahead of you... unless he slips up.

You could always look at the level of their palace. If it's a level 2 building, you're guaranteed he can't have more than his capital and 2 colonies.

Click on the city your spy is in, and look at the palace/GR. You can see its level by doing a mouse hover.

That may be the Case,I upgrade my pallace and all GR's befor I plant a colony, which eliminates having corruption in all your towns, you could check the level of his GR, it may give you some insight to if he has a fourth town.

Well the fact that you were able to determine just how many towns he could have is a start. You found two others ... check their GR levels as well. If one is less than the others, they may be waiting to plant that colony because they don't want to deal with corruption.

Evaluate what resource islands they have. Look at the most logical next choice and then look in the surrounding area for an island of that resource that has a high mill and lux resource level. I know it took me until my third colony when I realized ... might want to scope out a high level resource island instead of the one next door that is empty or underperforming.
